Meet Dr. Andrew Thomson
Andrew’s drive to pursue a career in the healthcare field is very similar to that of many. With a background in competitive hockey and collegiate rugby, he experienced his various muscle/joint injuries and concussions.
The value he found from various health professionals enabled him to continue performing day in and day out. Those experiences shaped his passion for helping others stay active, consistent, and capable in the things that matter most to them.
His practice focuses on 1 thing: helping patients recover from injuries efficiently and build long-term resilience.
His approach is simple: most musculoskeletal injuries are manageable and do not require a high volume of appointments, overcomplicated rehab programs, or fear-based messaging. What they need is understanding, structure, and progression.
Andrew’s treatment process centers around identifying what is actually causing your symptoms, creating a clear + structured plan, and helping you build back the capacity you need to achieve your goals, whether that’s keeping up with your kids/grandkids, training hard, or managing long days at work.
Andrew incorporates hands-on care, acupuncture, progressive rehab exercises and strategies that fit your lifestyle to get you where you want to be. You can expect to leave your Assessment understanding:
- What the issue is
- What is going to be done about it
- How long it should take
- What the next steps are
He is also a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Professional who works with golfers who want to swing pain-free, play more, and score lower.
Aside from his practice, Andrew enjoys developing, leading, and participating in various community events and initiatives.
If you value efficiency, clarity, and independence in your healthcare team, Andrew will be a great fit for you!
